My family loves to Travel to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I have been four times but have taken my children twice. My children have said they would move there in a heart-beat and my youngest is always asking me if we can go back because she misses it and I am right there with her, I miss it also. This is a place to make so many memories with your family. That is what matters most, even if you don't do much but simply spend time together hiking, or just simply taking in the Beautiful Scenery. I love to visit different places but when it comes to this place there is so much to do and your always doing different things each time you visit because of it.
This picture is a place we stayed at on Airbnb in Pigeon Forge, Tenn with the kids the first time, a gated community called Hidden Springs Resort, near Dollywood which has a indoor pool which is a plus if you have kids.
This place was very reasonable and well kept, some are individually owned homes so I am sure it depends on a lot of different aspects of renting. I am always the first to check the cleanliness of a place and also the reviews being because I own my own cleaning business and my standards are pretty high.

Our last few times we visited we made memories to last a lifetime. I had decided to do my research and I happened to come across ways to visit many tourist attractions at a very low price and with that said, I could afford to take my children to so many more attractions . I want to say we visited like three or four different places each day opposed to doing one or two.
I am no expert traveler or planner but when I come across ways to save so money and help keep money in our pocket I love to share and help others and show them the tips on how to do the same.
Most tourist attractions have homeschool rates, some only offer the special rates in September and October, but it is usually listed on their site. If you don't find them on the their websites then simply just email them. That is exactly what I did and got my response quickly. I will give you a idea of the rates, for example we visited most places for $10 when it was originally $30 to 35 to get in per person. This is a great way to save. Some places will let the entire family in while others may approve just the parents and siblings at the same rate. That is a GREAT SAVINGS if you ask me. That is AWESOME, AND YOU CAN DO SO MUCH MORE!!

You will need your children's paperwork from the board of Education or a Homeschool Card some programs give you for proof of homeschooling. This is also great for children to learn so much and is considered homeschool trips because they learn a lot.
There are so many different places to eat and they even have dinner theaters. I have not yet done a dinner at one but have ate at a few different places in Pigeon Forge and the best place there I think so far is the Apple Barn in Sevierville which sits on the boarder of Pigeon Forge. I am one for Southern Home Cooked Food and this place was the it. It was so Delish we decided to go again before we left that week. The Apple Barn also has their very own stores attached to the restaurant if you want to shop for décor, crafts, or buy some sweet deserts to take with you. Talk about DELISH, it was so GOOD, and my family thought so to.
