SeaWorld Orlando Theme Park, Aquarium & Aquatica Water Park

Take a Break and take an adventure to the unforgettable SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. To exciting rides of coasters to shows and animal experiences SeaWorld has it all and it is perfect for the whole family.

I had always thought that I would like to visit SeaWorld one day so with my two oldest children's birthdays coming up I decided to plan a vacation and go visit Florida for a week and plan on some trips to a few parks instead of a big party. That sounded like more fun to me. Of course they said they were happy with that decision so we drove down and did just that.

The property was beautiful with lots of tropical foliage and that is what my oldest daughter noticed the most at first. There are so many marine life exhibits, rides, games, stores, and some really neat restaurants. This parks holds sea lions, seals, dolphins, whales, penguins and lots of other marine life. Every exhibit and show was fantastic! Have a look at my first memorable visit at SeaWorld.

SeaWorld is first and foremost a marine park that saves, rehabilitates, and trains studying them as they work with them daily and most all were endangered prior to being held at SeaWorld.

There are different exhibits where you can feed the dolphins and other marine life, my husband purchased our eight year old some tiny fish to feed the sharks and she wasn't having it, it was hilarious, she was like why are you handing me this pack of dead feeder fish. So the sharks got feed by the two oldest . There are hand washing stations around after you feed them.

A must see at SeaWorld Orlando for me was the Dolphins & Orca's.

The dolphins and Orca's are one of my favorite and we watched them do tricks from flips to dives and jumping so high.

Lets not forget splashing everyone up close routinely around the tank. That will cool you off in that Florida weather if your sitting in the wet zone. I have seen one other dolphin show in my time, and this was one of the best. The trainers had such a great relationship with the dolphins.

Don't forget your Crossbody bag for each Theme Park, this is wonderful to have when you visit and easy to carry everything you need and Don't Forget Your Sunscreen...

Sea Lion & Otter Spotlight show, Clyde & Sea-more. It was way more than I expected. The family loved it. This show was sure to warm everyone's heart. It was such a cute show.

This was an Awesome Show!

SeaWorld has rides as well and they are designed with sea life in mind. One that is neat is Sky Tower where you step into a round glass elevator that rides up 400 feet or excellent views of the park. This costs a extra few bucks but if you a Silver, Gold or Platinum Annual Pass Member you can ride for free.

Experience Thrilling Coasters & Extraordinary Rides For The Whole Family! Manta was one that I rode with the two oldest and it was a experience. Manta is a steel flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of ray before boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour.

Theme Parks Can Drain your battery now days with the apps they provide and you find yourself on your phone a lot to find your way or what you want to do. We took our small portable phone chargers. These are great to have on hand.

SeaWorld usually has live entertainment at the park on given days and you must see the event schedule for that. We decided to pick a less crowded day for SeaWorld and it worked out great. Even if you don't ride the rides, just viewing the property and vibrant colorful flowers and tropical plants and if you need a scooter you can with sun shade for help you get around in the shade.

One of the Restaurants is Sharks Underwater Grill & Bar and is so breathtaking.

Our family favorites were Roa's Rapids and this lazy river takes you on a high-energy journey down whitewater river, hold on because your going to need it. If you want out of the current you better be ready as I needed my husband to pull me to the side the current is so strong, remember its whitewater river and that was so funny in itself.

Loggerhead Lane is Aquatica’s fun twist on the classic lazy river, Loggerhead Lane will take you on a relaxing journey downstream before also taking you through a beautiful aquarium that showcases exotic tropical fish.

One of two wave pools at Aquatica Orlando, Cutback Cove is deeper (up to 6.5 feet) and produces stronger waves. Wave intensity will vary throughout the day, and just as is the case with real waves, the water here will knock you off your feet and drag you to deeper depths. Because of this, Aquatica Orlando advises everyone to consider wearing a life jacket while enjoying this attraction.

Reef Plunge is a all-new attraction will take guests through an aquarium featuring Commerson’s dolphins, sardines, and leopard sharks while sliding for over 300 feet!
